Cheeseburger Pasta

This may seem like a strange combination but trust me, it's good!
It tastes exactly like a cheese burger but less calories and can be more filling when you bulk it out with extra vegetables.
Basically add any burger toppings you like & voilà you're eating your favourite fastfood for a fraction of the calories!

 200 g lean mince / mince substitute
 150 g dried macaroni
 200 g chopped tomatoes
 30 ml ketchup
 30 g low fat cheese - grated
 1 large pickled gherkin - chopped
 0.50 tbsp Worchestershire sauce
 10 ml mustard
 1 tsp smoked paprika
 1 tsp garlic powder
 0.50 tsp mustard powder
 0.50 tsp onion powder

Bring a large pot of salted water to the boil, ad the macaroni and cook until al dente (approximately 8-12 minutes).

Drain the pasta, saving some of the water and set aside.

In a non stick pan, add the mince and brown it off.

Once brown, remove from the pan and set aside.

To the same pan, add the garlic and chopped onion. Cook until the garlic is fragrant and the onions have softened.

Add the chopped tomatoes, ketchup and seasoning to a blender and mix until smooth.

Now add the mince, sauce and pasta water back to the pan and bring to the boil.

Lower the heat and allow to simmer until reduced.

Add the rest of the ingredients (except the mustard) to the pot and mix well until fully combined.

Plate the pasta mixture and drizzle the mustard on top.
