Rice Pudding

This creamy rice pudding will bring back all the childhood memories..!
This dessert can be made with whatever toppings you like, add some fruit or chocolate for extra sweetness!

 80 g pudding rice
 250 ml semi-skimmed milk
 2 tsp granulated sweetener
 1 tsp vanilla extract

Add the rice and 300mls of water to a large pot and bring to the boil.

Reduce the heat and allow to simmer for 15 minutes until the water has been absorbed.

Uncover and add the milk, sweetener and vanilla extract and stir.

Allow to simmer for 25 minutes, remembering to stir often until the rice has softened and you've a nice thick sauce.

Allow the rice to cool and then serve with your favourite toppings!
